Each year in August we hold a required Chromebook Orientation at the beginning of our Freshman Academy for 9th graders and their parents, as well as for any new upperclassmen and their parents.
Parents/guardians that couldn't attend the Freshman Academy/Chromebook Orientation, or that enrolled later in the school year, should call the school and schedule a make up Chromebook orientation session.
In Class Student Training
This training is held in homerooms during the first five days of school. Students enrolled after that should review these materials individually and ask any teacher if they have any questions:
List of Unblocked Apps (Currently most apps from the Chrome Web Store are blocked for students because some of them can cause problems or conflict with Google Apps and the Chromebooks.)
Teachers and students can request an App by emailing Mrs. Mabe at [email protected].
Additionally...
Students must pay the $26.25 Technology Fee 1) online with School Cash Online, or 2) in person in the school office (before/after school or lunch).
Students that would like a shoulder strap to use with their Chromebook can stop by the Media Center to pick one up.
Chromebooks should always remain in the school issued cases and should not be placed inside of backpacks, etc.
Chargers should be left at home and devices should be charged overnight.
