North Stokes' FFA celebrated FFA week with an Agriculture Assembly Friday.
We would like to welcome Mrs. Cassidy Queen to NSHS as our interim English 3 teacher. She comes to us with her undergraduate work in Creative Writing and a master's degree in College Teaching for English. Welcome to Viking Country Mrs. Queen!
ACT Testing

Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Williams took NSHS students to Extreme Marketing in Pilot Mountain. They toured the facility and discussed possible job opportunities.

We are so honored to announce Tracie Moorefield as our CTE Teacher of the Year and Cassidy Boles as Teacher of the year. So well deserved!
By the way, the reason these teachers have camo on is because they are participating in FFA Spirit Week. That's what a Teacher of the Year would do!

FFA Spirit Week

NSHS Agriculture Department was selected to participate in the Native Plant Propagation Program.

Congratulations to the 69 students that earned CTE credentials during the first semester of 23/24. Many of them were able to join in a “certification celebration” as a reward for their hard work on the following certifications: ANSI accredited Food Handler (Mrs. Heath’s Food & Nutrition I classes); First Aid (Mrs. Duggins’ Health Science I class); Basic Life Support, OSHA and Stop the Bleed (Mrs. Moorefield’s Health Science II class); Nurse Aide (Mrs. Moorefield’s Nursing Fundamental class); ASE entry-level Maintenance and Light Repair, ASE entry-level Brakes and ASE professional Auto Maintenance and Light Repair G1 (Mr. Spencer’s Automotive Service II and III classes).
